Remember the half-bodied walker that Rick Grimes encountered in the first episode of the Walking Dead Season 1?
When Rick saw her, we immediately concluded that he thought that it is his wife, Lorie, as the walker resembles Lorie’s physique. But a closer encounter with the walker gave him a sense of hope that it is not Lorie, after all. So before Rick went on to his path to find his family, he killed the walker (crawler?) to end her “agony”.

Of course, that walker is not Lorie but once upon a time it was a lady called Hannah. Hannah came to be known to us as the “Bicycle Girl” and is dubbed as one of the most celebrated “walkers” from last season.

As everyone is prepping for the anticipated comeback of the The Walking Dead for its Season 2, AMC network launched a special six-episode web series that give us the opportunity to explore the back story of Hannah played by Lilli Birdsell.
The web-series is entitled The Walking Dead: Torn Apart.
In these webisodes, we will be introduced to Hannah’s personal life before the walking dead overrun the entire world, about her struggles to survive and protect her family as the world begins to fall apart, and eventually how she became a walker.
Hannah’s story reminds us that “walkers” were once ordinary human beings like us, with lives and relationships.
